  • Use a matte primer or foundation to control all-over oil throughout the day, then add highlighter to the specific area you want to glow!

  • I use Make up Forever’s Mat Velvet Plus foundation. It holds up to our sweltering desert summer heat. For a sun-kissed glow, I use NYC”s Sunny matte bronzer. Then, I apply a highlighter to the tops of my cheekbones. Instantly brightens my complexion!

  • I’m obsessed with Bobbi Brown’s EXTRA SPF 25 Tinted Moisturizing Balm for my super-dry skin. It’s a 3-in-one product: Foundation, SPF, and excellent moisturizers! I find that if I become at all shiny on my nose, I just use a blotting paper, which I always keep handy in my bag.

  • Would love to try these!

  • I like to take a squirt of sunscreen, tinted moisturizer and a bit of self tanner and mix it all up in my hand and then apply to my face, neck and upper chest. It gives a nice glow while giving a hint of color from the tanner, some coverage from the tinted moisturizer and protection from the sunscreen. It’s a great no- makeup look for those low maintenance days.

If you need to lock it down for work or going out, layer it with some mineral makeup like Bare Escuntuals in the original formula and then add all day staying power with a setting spray like Skindinavia or NYX.

  • I love the bare minerals make up! and it comes with SPF.

  • I used a foundation that has sunscreen in it and a matte powder over it.

  • Due to medications and living in hell (AKA SW Florida), I cannot wear makeup during the summer because I IMMEDIATELY sweat it off. What I have learned, though, is to carry Yes To Yes To Cucumber Soothing Hypoallergenic Facial Towelettes with me and a light face powder (I’m very fair skinned). The wipes are PHENOMENAL with cooling my face/skin down and calming the redness and the powder of course helps cover the shine. It works great for someone like me who would LOVE to be girly in the summer but really can’t be.

  • An excellent primer is a MUST in the summer to battle shine & sweat. I like one with a good matte finish like ones from Smashbox or Flower Cosmetics. And to add a little shimmer without that “slick” look, I like to add a light dusting of a shimmery highlighting powder with a big, fluffy brush all over the face.

  • Drink lots of water.

  • For summer, less is better. I skip foundation altogether and use a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen!

  • Oil blotting sheets to cut the oil, and bronzer with a tiny bit of shimmer for glow.

  • For me a glowing complexion starts from the inside-out. I find that my skin looks the most fresh after a sweaty workout, spin class, hot yoga, or a good run. Then I wash with a gentle face cleanser, add some moisturizer, a powder foundation and some bronzer and voila! My skin looks healthy, radiant, and fresh.

  • Use powder blush followed by face powder.

  • I use as little makeup as possible and always stay in the shade or wear sunscreen.

  • I use a tinted moisturizer (like Aveeno’s) and dust a little bit of powder. My wrinkles don’t stand out, and my face stays moist, not gleasy, all day long.

  • I use a tinted moisturizer with SPF (like Aveeno’s) and dust my face with a little bit of powder. This way my face doesn’t get gleasy and stays moist.

  • I first use a face primer, then your powder foundation, and just bronze enough to give yourself that tan look without the sunburn

  • These products look great and I would love to try them!

  • I use mineral foundation and bronzer. I also keep blotting papers on hand to blot any oil or sweat right up.

  • Been a fan of Jergens Natural Glow for awhile now.

  • Do not use pressed powder. I use highlighter on my cheekbones and lip gloss or a pink lipstick on my cheeks to give that pretty glow.

  • Clean and Clear Oil sheets!!!

  • Definitely using my facial steamer you can buy online from different companies Revlon,Conair, etc it opens up the pores and brightens your face.Steam and then cleanse! For a great boost give Philosophy Microdelivery Peel Lit!You will glow.

  • Love the Jergen’s Natural Glow…can’t wait to try the other products suggested.

  • Been a fan of Jergens Natural Glow for some time now.

  • A powder bronzer for face and sunless tanner for the body, ideally with SPF 15. Also air drying hair cools the body and hides any sweat by the hair line. Put on some lip gloss and your ready to go!

  • Use primer to control oil and after you’re done with your whole face, spray rose water mixed w glycerin to add a nice glitter/shimmer-free glow. This will also help set your makeup.

  • Using a tinted moisturizer which isn’t as heavy as foundation, gives me good coverage and a dewy finish plus has spf.

  • I use a lightweight moisturizer.

  • I wear a matte make-up primer with Clinique powder over it.

  • I use tinited moisturizer with SPF so the makeup is not so heavy that my pore’s can’t breathe. It can be layered on if needed and never feels heavy nor looks heavy. Facial towelettes are also a Summer must.

  • Cleansing first to remove any dirt and oil, then applying a bb cream or tinted moisturizer… and I apply them lightly and use just the right amount. I try to stay away from heavy foundations during the warmer months because I don’t like my makeup feeling like it’s melting off my face. I also like to wear a little powder blush with a hint of shimmer and lip balm or light lip gloss.

  • Face: neutral colored shimmer eye shadow just below the brow last be AND high cheekbone. I’m fairly oily so to keep my eye makeup from sliding southbound I dab some baby powder under my eyes; this absorbs moisture/oil and keeps my makeup in place.

  • Apply less makeup than in the winter.

  • Since my skin tends to get irritated during the summer and it’s pretty hot and humid, I stay away from liquid makeup such as foundation. I keep my makeup as light as possible by only applying eyeliner and sometimes eyeshadow to keep my face fresh and new during the summer, but light.

  • would love to win

  • I am have used Olay regenerating lotion then Olay tone correcting miosturizer with a light powder foundation on top, but Have also tried Aveda tinted moisture lotion. • I’ve started using a powder foundation all over along with Watts Up highlighter on my cheekbones. The powder helps control shine where I don’t want it, but the highlighter emphasizes some glow :)

  • wear a hat & use blotters

  • My beauty trick for looking glowy, but not sweaty in the summer is to use a matte powder before putting on the rest of my makeup. I also use bronzer (powder) instead of a cream foundation in the summertime. I live in Alabama, so I have to use all the tricks to reduce sweat/shine on my fave!

  • Tinted moisturizer does the trick for me. It gives me just a bit of color and coverage without being heavy or greasy.

  • I LIVE with blotting sheets during the summer! It’s what keeps me looking refreshed during the work day!

  • I use tinted moisturizer. Works very well for me. During the summer I really don’t like wearing a whole lot of make-up unless I am going out somewhere special. My moisturizer, some mascara, and lip gloss and I am out the door. Would love to try these products.

  • I always make sure I carry blotting papers with me and pull them out whenever my face feels a little too slick. It’s also great to use as a mid-day refresher, even if I’ve been in air conditioning all day!

  • I rarely use makeup, especially in the hot humid Minnesota summer! For special occasions I like a BB cream, highlighter on my cheeks & under my brows, and some eyeliner. When my kids were growing up I never bought or wore makeup. Now that they are grown and I am turning 50, I need to relearn how to buy what to buy, and how to apply it!

  • Oil-blotting sheets

  • I use a primer like Porefessional by Benefit and a powder targeted to stop shine.

  • Jergens Natural Glow is a staple of mine.

  • I use a Almays face powder in Nude to stop the shine.

  • I use the True Match pressed powder from L’Oreal! :)

  • Jergens Natural Glow is always on hand at my house!

  • I start by taking care of my skin as much as possible. I use a glycolic aha serum in the a.m. ( I love the alpha hydrox brand 10% oil free treatment )and an over the counter retinol at night. As well as a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid. (Olay regenerist micro sculpting cream is good). All on my face neck and chest ( sometimes even on my shoulders! ) with separate formulas made just for the eye area. I also try to eat healthy, drink plenty of water and take a collagen supplement. This gives a base of healthy glowing skin even without makeup. I do love makeup though and use a large brush to apply translucent pressed powder lightly all over face and a bronzer over the top of my forehead at hairline and down side of temples and under jawline and onto collarbone and shoulders. I don’t use blotting papers,if needed I just lightly dab shiny ( sweaty) spots with kleenex.

  • A quick spritz of water on the face after I put my make-up on.

  • I use Mineral powder foundation and bronzer.

  • i use bb cream and love it

  • I try to do a “light” version of my make-up routine. After I wash my face in the AM I put on sun screen, a quick sweep of BB cream and a light dusting of trans powder. I eliminate the heavy moisturizer, primer and foundations in the “Hot” summer months. I use a good self tanner once a week for color. I opt for the lighter color blushes or bronzers for a “natural” glow. I use colored eye-liner pencils instead of layers of eye shadows. • I use a shine control lotion and it really works.

  • Used to think I was somewhat blessed to have semi-dry skin that tanned (and yes, even burnt a little on my face, shoulders, and knees if I stayed out all day at the beginning of the season), fairly easily while all my friends had to slather on the sunscreen. And all of this would only help in clogging their pores, so they’d add another layer of liquid foundation on…while I didn’t wear any makeup(I still don’t). However, I do now wear sunscreen …and there isn’t even a plastic surgeon that could fix the scars on my body from my first skin cancer diagnosis five years ago. Even worse was the call last week that my immunologist believes one of the melanoma has metas is. So, in a sense, I can’t be selfish and say that what’s up to win would be perfect just for me-its good for us all!

  • I use a matte loose powder to set my face. It really helps.

  • daily exfoliation

  • Love the jergens glow lotion, i have found a lot of stuff i like by trying samples! Hope i win!

  • I use Mary Kay timewise repair products along with the foundation which keeps my skin hydrated but not greasy.

  • I use Estee Lauder matte primer under a liquid foundation (as opposed to a powder foundation). I have tried a lot of primers, but this is the best. It controls shine without drying out your skin. I even use it in the winter.

I was using powder foundation in the past, but it started to make my skin flakey, so now I use only liquid foundation for a subtle glow.
