Hair Alert: Perfect Shampoo/Conditioner for your Hair Type

Sometimes it’s all about the hair.

Regardless of our hair color and length, we all have to take care of our hair. When I was a little girl, I couldn’t wait to start washing my hair with “big girl” shampoo and conditioner. I’ll never forget when I finally was old enough to wash my hair on my own, I felt like the coolest kid in the world. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve still always taken good care of my hair. My hair is tough because it’s VERY thick, but also very damaged from color-treating it for years and by chlorine (I’m in the pool a lot). I’m ALWAYS asking other women for their tips and advice as to what they do for their hair.

Hair, it’s something we talk about and think about.

As I’ve gotten older, it definitely seems to be that us mamas do a lot of hair talk.

The question seems to be, “What shampoo and conditioner is best for your hair type?”

I want to share (3) different brands that do a FABULOUS job at designated hair types while formulating shampoo and conditioner combinations!

1) Pantene -

Pantene had products that are 100% specific to your hair type – straight, curly, color treated, volume hair, etc. Bring on the kind of hair you have and Pantene has your perfect match. I love that you had choices, and lots of them. It’s almost as if they’ve gotten into your personal hair DNA and found the magic formula. If you have individual hair needs, Pantene has your perfect product.

2) Vidal Sassoon -

Vidal Sassoon gives you the option to shop by your hair type, too. I love Vidal Sassoon products because you can designate by your personal hair needs and they have something for everyone – volume, smoothness, color-treated, repair and damage, etc. It’s something that makes shopping for shampoo and conditioner easy and doable and (most important) practical.

3) Aussie -

It’s all about customizing your shampoo and conditioner to make your hair look its best, and Aussie has you covered. I love that Aussie gives you options when for what you hair needs for its particular hair type – shine, volume, relaxing, smoothness, moisture, etc. It’s easy to care for your hair when you’re able to give your hair exactly what it needs.
